Dr. Pankaj Naram will be the first to say that more vegetables will keep you healthier and live longer. A big reason a vast majority of people don’t seem to enjoy vegetables as often as they should is quite simple. The bottom line is you can take healthy food and not know how to cook it properly, and spice it correctly, and then they just taste bland, and you no longer enjoy them or not one even eat them at all. Living a Plant-based diet is the newest craze in 2017 according to Dr. Pankaj Naram the leading cause of death in the United States amounts to the fact that people eat poorly.
The food choices that we make affect our lives now more so than before. Dr. Pankaj Naram offers a few handy tips on how to get the most deliciousness out of vegetables that you never really enjoyed before. The first biggest tip is roasting. Taking vegetables such as carrots or tomatoes or even root vegetables such as golden beets and rub them with a little bit of olive oil or coconut oil and then lightly use some sea salt and some cracked black pepper and a dash of turmeric. Set the oven at a temperature of 375°F and roast away. Most vegetables such as the ones we have described above will take approximately 35 to 45 minutes unless of course, you prefer them crunchier or al dente.
Just a simple fact of roasting alone will enhance the taste so much more than you can ever imagine. Know you are taking a vegetable that was once bland and you didn’t enjoy it that much, did you? Now becomes delicious as a major staple of your meal add some Mung Beans for some extra protein and hello your in for a great meal, says Dr. Pankaj Naram
It’s simply amazing what the difference and eating a carrot that was boiled in water or microwaved but is now slow roasted with just a touch of salt and pepper a small amount oil like coconut or olive can make all the difference in the world.
Dr. Pankaj Naram Believes everyone can live longer and healthier by following more of the plant-based diet.
